2012 NEW YEAR’S TOAST : January 21, 2012 , 7 p.m.

The Newcomers and Neighbors of Somerset Hills invites you and your partner to a jingling jolly time at the Annual New Year’s Toast “Ringing in the New Year” at the home of Michael & Carol Rosenberg. As usual, the night will be filled with good food, a champagne toast, music, and dancing. BYOB!  $25 per person payable by check to NNSH by Jan 10th 2012

FEBRUARY DAY TRIP: Thursday, February 16, 2012 Metropolitan Museum of Art

Join us as we visit “the Met”, one of world’s great art centers, which houses over 2 million objects in a 2 million square foot building.  We will start our visit with a guided tour of some of the museum’s highlights and enjoy lunch at the Petri Court Café and Wine Bar.  After lunch you may wish to take another guided offered that day or use an audio guide to independently tour galleries. We will have time to shop at the fabulous Met store.
Details are as follows: Travel by trains to the museum – travel schedule to be determined
Admission to the Museum is $25 (seniors $17); audio guides are $6.00
Lunch cost individually determined

  MARCH DAY TRIP: THURSDAY MARCH 15, 2012 Open rehearsal of the New York Philharmonic
 

Join us for an Open rehearsal: The Modern Beethoven Symphonies No. 1 and 3 of the New York Philharmonic in Avery Fisher Hall. The rehearsal begins at 9:45 AM and ends at approximately 12:30 PM. We will travel by public transport (bus or train) and will have to leave from our area around 7:30 AM, details to follow in the February Welcome Mat.
